Catch 22 Gastropub – Downtown Monroe GA

Catch 22 is a gastropub located on North Broad Street in downtown Monroe, Georgia, expanding a concept originally established in Athens. The Monroe location offers elevated pub fare in a sit-down setting, serving both lunch and dinner throughout the week.

A gastropub is a casual, pub-style establishment that serves high-quality, chef-driven, gourmet food alongside a curated selection of drinks. Coined in 1991 with the opening of The Eagle in London, these venues combine the cozy atmosphere of a traditional tavern with elevated, often locally sourced, seasonal, or creative cuisine.

The menu features specialty burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips, roasted wings, and other pub-style favorites prepared with attention to ingredient quality and consistency. A selection of beers and additional beverages complements the food offerings, making it suitable for midday meals, casual dinners, and social gatherings.

Catch 22 is veteran-owned and has become part of Monroe’s growing downtown dining scene. The interior reflects a classic pub atmosphere with a mix of table and bar seating, accommodating families, couples, and groups of friends. Its location in a building formerly home to another well-known eatery places it within the core of North Broad Street’s restaurant corridor, within walking distance of other downtown shops and attractions.

For those searching for a gastropub in Monroe GA serving burgers, sandwiches, and lunch or dinner on North Broad Street, Catch 22 provides a locally accessible dining option in the heart of downtown.
